Hi all,

I am taking the unusual action in publicly warning our members (it usually happens privately) that over the past few days, an individual has been posting numerous private messages and forum posts under a multitude of different identities.

OzModel.com is concerned due to the large number of posts and identities used.

Whilst we have no idea of the poster's intention, their use of OzModel.com is fraudulent in that they have deliberately taken steps to represent themselves as a large number of unassociated identities.

WARNING TO MODELS: Private messages sent by this person via our portfolio system have pleaded for models to respond with a polite "no thanks" if they are not interested in posing for strip poker games. As all messages sent via our interim system already state: if you reply, they will obtain your private email address. Never feel compelled to reply to any message, as this could be an excellent way to obtain email addresses.

The identities used include but are not limited to:

All of these posts originated from a small linen hire company in Logan, south east of Brisbane. OzModel.com know the company name and its location and will consider further investigations with the organisation concerned.

Seems like these people have setup shop on Model Mayhem

3 casting calls were posted over the last few days but they seem to have been removed now. Same modus operandi. Representing large international brand, in need of models etc
